ABOUT

Mongoose Plastics Limited has been established since February 1983 as a Vacuum Forming and plastic fabrication company.

Our Formings range from 12mm square to 1.22M. Material range from 100 micron to maximum thickness of 10mm.

There is also a capability for machining, assembly, and printing of these products which are made in a variety of materials, colours and finishes. Much of our work being for the electronics industry, but most market sectors are covered, from medical to automotive. Products range from small quantity transport/carry trays to millions of packaging trays or blister packs. We hold a large range of ESD products, in plastic, matting & foam.

VACUUM FORMING PROCESS

Step 1

A sheet of thermoplastic is heated and placed above a mould.

Step 2

When heated to the right temperature. The thermoplastic sheet is then pressed over the mould creating a seal and a vacumm is applied.

The sheet then conforms the geometry of the mould. When cooled, it can be removed and the thermoplastic will be shaped like the mould.

SCOPE OF WORK

Our Quality System has been developed to demonstrate that Mongoose Plastics Limited has the capability to control the processes that determine the acceptability of the products we manufacture.

The system is aimed primarily at preventing and detecting any non-conformity during the production process while implementing the means to prevent recurrence. It is specifically applied to the procurement, vacuum forming and subsequent operations carried out on plastic sheet materials and the packing and delivery of completed products.

Since January 1994, our Quality Systems have been developed in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001.

 

Mongoose Plastics Ltd. is totally committed to quality. Our policy is as follows:

To provide products or services which satisfy the requirements agreed with our customers, on time, every time, with zero defects; by doing the job right first time.

To ensure that we achieve this objective in relation to the manufacture of vacuum formed plastics, the quality system laid out in our Quality Manual System (QMS) will be implemented. Our resources will be applied to establish, maintain, and improve the system to meet or exceed the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001.

The use of these systems, procedures & policies are mandatory at all times by all employees, servants and agents of the company.
